In Spring/Summer 2025 the NHS and the HWE Patient Engagement Forum embarked on a project to increase the public awareness of the risks of hypertension/high blood pressure. Trained members of the PEF attended community events equipped with Blood Pressure Monitors and with guides produced by the British Heart Foundation to advise patients on how to deal with their blood pressure
Many events were attended and hundreds of measurements taken.
