Session overview: The GP Patient Survey (GPPS) is one of the largest surveys in England, providing valuable insight into patients' experiences of general practice and other NHS services. This session will provide:
An overview of how the survey works, what the latest 2026 results tell us, and how Patient Participation Groups can use GPPS findings to better understand and improve patient experience locally.
A demonstration will show how the GPPS website can be used to access and analyse the results, showing how to explore results for your practice, Primary Care Network, and wider area.
This session will be suitable for both those who are new to GPPS and those looking to understand the survey more and make greater use of the survey data locally.
